Have you ever wondered if an automation on your form actually ran? You have to go hunt down the person's profile and comb through their activity or communications. Tedious.
Have you ever wanted to pause just one automation in your form and not all of them? Before today, that wasn't possible.
But! The wait is over! We are very proud to introduce you to the improved Form Automation tab, now with automation history!
In the first screenshot above, we can see three separate automations, one paused. In the second, we can see three submissions have come through today, with three different statuses, explanations for those statuses, and even an option to try again!
- Success: the automation ran without issue!
- Paused: the automation was paused at the moment Gary filled out the form, so it did not run, but we have the option to "Run now".
- Failed: the automation did not work for Beth Anne. The full details can give us insight into why, and let us retry once the blockers are removed.
- Filter by status: we can now quickly filter to see all* of the failed or paused actions.

Not pictured:
- Pending Status: automations usually only take a few seconds to run (if that), but if we were to open this automation history page right after someone fills out the form, we'd see their name with that status.
- Reassign to me: Individual automations can be reassigned to yourself, useful when staff transitions out of a role.
