Introduction

Markdown is a markup language that is converted to HTML which you can use to format text in some places in various PCO apps.

This article is just an introduction, full documentation is available here.

Headers

Headers are defined by preceding your text with one or more # characters corresponding to header levels.

# A Heading
## A Subheading
### A Sub-subheading

etc.

Images

Here is an example of inserting an image. The text is inside the brackets is the alternate text that is displayed when the user hovers their mouse over the image.

Lists

You can use numbers or asterisks for lists:

1. Pineapple
2. Canadian Bacon

or

* Peanut Butter
* Jelly
