Updating Several People at Once

You may want to update information about several people, like change their membership status or add them to a group. Editors can do this from the People tab or from a List.

Updating on the People Tab

When you update profiles on the People tab, you can choose people individually or from a List in order to apply the update.

1. Open the Bulk Action Tool

From the People tab, click the settings gear then Bulk Actions.

If you don't see the settings gear, your permissions may be too low. You must be an Editor to update several people at once.

2. Choose Individuals or List

Individuals

Set the dropdown to Individuals then search for people by name. When you click their name, they will be added to the People Selected box.

If you accidentally add someone, you can remove them from the People Selected box by clicking the X before you update.

List

To select all the members of a List, change the dropdown to the Lists. Once you choose the list, confirm your selection with Select x people under the dropdown.

If you don't want to update all the people from that list, you can remove them from the People Selected box by clicking the X before you update.

3. Select the Update

Once you've chosen people to update, you'll see them in the People Selected box. You can now choose what to update from the dropdowns.
