The directory is a private place for the people in your church to share their contact information with one another. Only people who have been invited to the directory will be able to see the directory or share their information. Managers can set the parameters of the contact information, and then each person can choose for themselves--or their household--the information they want to be shown.

From the People tab, click the gear, and then click Directory.

Click the Church Center dropdown to see if the directory is enabled.

Green checkmarks denote that the directory is enabled. If you see a red X, the directory is not enabled.
Update directory will take you to the place to enable the directory, either from the Church Center tab in Accounts or from Publishing, if you're subscribed.

When the directory is enabled, you can see it on the web and in the Church Center app.

This directory page shows you what information you'd like people to provide and gives you a way to invite new people or see those who have been invited.

Select the fields you'd like to be visible for the directory.
Invite people to be part of the directory from the Directory Settings by entering their names or choosing a list.
You can also invite people to be a part of the directory from their profile, the bulk action menu, or a list.
From a person's profile page, click Invite to directory.

Once they've added their information, their Directory Status will change.

If you no longer want them to have access to the directory, remove their access.
You can view their directory profile.
From the People tab, click the gear, and then click Bulk Actions.

Enter multiple individuals or choose a list of individuals, and then invite them all to join the directory.

Choose Set directory access from the menu.

Choose Allow access to give access to people.
If you want to revoke access from people, you can choose that from the menu as well.
Without the welcome email, the only way a person can join is if they go to Church Center and see an Add my info link.
From a list, click the bulk action icon.
