New: File Uploads in Forms

If you've ever wanted to collect photos or documents from a form, you'll be glad to know that now you can! In fact, there's now two ways to collect files with a form.

First, you can now let people upload files directly into a file type custom field. This is a a great way to collect documents like signed membership covenants or scans of drivers licenses and have them saved directly to the submitter's profile. These files can be up to 10 MB.

Second, for files that aren't directly related to a profile, or that you may only need for a short time, there's a new basic field for files.CleanShot_2022-03-24_at_12.10.47_2x.png

These fields can accept a single file up to 10 MB, or if you enable the "Allow multiple files" option, up to five files, 10 MB each. Unlike custom profiles fields, these files will be deleted from the form submission after 180 days, so be sure to save them somewhere safe if you'll need them long term.

Hundreds of thousands of forms have collected millions of submissions. We're thrilled to be able to make them even more powerful while keeping them at the low, low price of free.
